Clockwork Room I[]

I hope you're not under the influence of anything that would make you fear heavy machinery. No? Good. Walk toward the thick rotating gear on your level.

Look for a series of three horizontal gears, each higher than the one before. Jump to the lowest and up to the third. Leap to the solid checkerboard floor. Jump to the barrel-shaped gear when it lowers into jumping range. Proceed higher in the room by riding two more similar gears. Jump from the third gear to a screw with two barrel gears; jump between them. Leap to the safety of the ledge. Follow the hallway.

Clockwork Room II[]

Jump to the pedals rotating just below this ledge. Leap to the next set of pedals, then to the checkerboard ledge. From there, jump to a single pedal swinging back and forth and from there to another ledge. Collect yourself on the ledge and jump yet another set of pedals. Take the long leap to the barrel gear nearby.

Wait for the cage-like gear to come into range and jump inside. Switch to the nearby pedals and back onto the "roof" of the cage gear. Continue straight and over to a barrel gear when it lowers into range. The next gear is vertically oriented and rotating from bottom to top. Jump onto one of the teeth and ride it to the top. Get to the checkerboard ledge before you're dumped off the gear. Go through the hall.

Clockwork Room III[]

Wait for the barrel gear to rise into range before you and move to it. Look down to see a gear attached to a long arm moving back and forth across the room. Jump to it and quickly get on the arm. Traverse the arm and jump to the small ledge on the wall. Next, head to the barrel gear to the right. When the barrel gear reaches its highest point, go to the see-saw and stand in the center to balance it. Jump to the next thick gear straight ahead. Spin around and jump onto another see-saw.

Tilt it slightly upward and jump to the next barrel gear. Look down and leap to the gigantic, horizontal, jagged-toothed wheel in the center of the room. Land around the edge or you'll fall through the spokes.

Move to the next barrel gear as it rises into jumping range. Watch the vertical jagged-toothed wheel and jump onto one of its teeth. Stand in the middle of the tooth and turn right so you're looking at the lever that drops into place each time the wheel turns. Stand between the two arms of the lever and jump so you're standing on top of the lever. Scale the lever to the wall and jump down to safety and the portal.

Notes[]

  • You can adjust the landing place of your jumps while in the air. If you've misjudged slightly, you can make adjustments while airborne.
